One inch in two weeks

Today was Naomi's two week check-up. She's grown one inch since she's been born. That's amazing. The nurse said that sometimes the measurement may be a bit off when they take it at the birth, but usually not by much and it isn't uncommon for babies to grow that much or more in such a short amount of time. I would love it if I could just grow an inch every five years--at least until I hit 5' 5'' or maybe even a super tall 5' 7'', then I wouldn't have to hem every pair of pants I buy and I could actually use the top shelf in the pantry because I could see what is on it! Don't worry Naomi, I'm sure with your dad's genes you have a good shot at 5' 6''.
